The first virtual Support Group Meeting for Partners of Prostate Cancer Patients on Wednesday, August 19th, 7pm!

 

Don't miss our very first Partners in Prostate meeting next Wednesday! Prostate cancer is often called a couple's disease given the impact that a diagnosis often has, not only on the patient, but also their partner. Communication about topics like intimacy, treatment side effects, and fear of the unknown can be difficult, but research has shown that providing support to the partners of prostate cancer patients improves health outcomes for both the patient and their partner. Join us for a judgment-free, partners-only, confidential and positive conversation on August 19th at 7 pm PDT over Zoom. Open to all partners of prostate cancer patients, male or female, let's create a community that will support and empower each other throughout our partners' journeys. Glenda Standeven, authour of What Men Won't Talk About... and Women Need to Know: A Woman's Perspective on Prostate Cancer, motivational speaker, cancer survivor, and wife of a prostate cancer patient herself, will be facilitating this meeting.
