Stress Reduction for the Mind, Body, and Spirit (減低身心和精神壓力)

InspireHealth, a supportive cancer care organization approved by the BC Ministry of Health, is pleased to offer a FREE session entitled “Stress Reduction for the Mind, Body, and Spirit”.  Caring for our mental and emotional health is fundamentally important, especially during a cancer diagnosis.  An InspireHealth physician will be facilitating this interactive session supporting the mind, body, and spirit.  Chinese translation services will be provided by the Richmond Chinese Prostate Cancer Support Group.  This session is open to adults with a current or past cancer diagnosis.  Family members and support people are also welcome.

Radiation Treatment for Prostate Cancer (放射治療前列腺癌)

This presentation from oncologist Dr Danny Vesprini, MD, FRCPC is focused on explaining how radiation therapy works and describes the two main methods of delivering Prostate Radiotherapy - Brachytherapy and External Beam Radiotherapy. It reviews the main treatment options for low, intermediate and high-risk prostate cancer, focusing on the radiotherapy options.
