Richmond Blue Walker Schedule 列治文「藍天健行」步行團時間表

The Richmond Blue Walkers have walked/run/biked 5-10km along different beautiful river dikes of the Fraser River and parks twice a week (Tuesday and Thursday) in 1-2 hours (9-11 am) since 2017. We adjusted the following walking route schedule after 2021, with a shift to 4 days a week in 2026 (Tuesday to Friday). Please join in or drop by to say hello:

2017 年開始,列治文「藍天健行」步行團,每週兩次(週二和週四)上午 9 點至 11 點,在 1 至 2 小時內,沿著美麗的菲沙河堤岸和公園進行 5 至 10 公里的步行/跑步/騎單車活動 2021 年後,我們確定了以下健行路線安排。並於 2026 年調整為每週四天(週二至週五)。歡迎加入我們,或隨時過來打個招呼:

The extra days, March 31 and April 1, 2 & 3, will walk in Minoru Oval & Minoru Park, 9 am meet in front of the grandstand. 3月31日和4月1日、2日、3日的額外活動日將在Minoru Oval和Minoru Park舉行,上午9點在田徑賽看台前集合。

Meeting places:

On the 1st and 2nd weeks of the month, please meet at the "Terra Nova Public Washroom" parking lot. 

每月第1、2週請在“Terra Nova公共洗手間” 停車場集合。

The 3rd and 4th weeks are at "Garry Point Park Parking Area". (The Extra days after the 4th week will post at the top of this post)

Choose to Move - A Free online and in-person programs across B.C. for 55+

2026 is coming fast! Even if you aren't the kind of person who sets 'New Year's Resolutions,' January can be a great time for a 'fresh start.' If you have wanted to become physically active, now is the perfect chance. Choose to Move is proven to help participants become more physically active and socially connected.

They are launching new FREE online and in-person programs across B.C. beginning in early January. This transformative support program for individuals aged 55 and older offers 1-on-1 consultations with a trained activity coach, group meetings, and personalized activity plans.

Choose to Move participants notice they have more energy, feel happier, and enjoy improved mobility. Being physically active and socially connected can support your health and independence and boost your quality of life. 
Upcoming Programs

Programs are launching in-person and online all over British Columbia. Check out the BC-wide options if Choose to Move is not available in your community.

Not available in your area?  NO PROBLEM!
If you are over 55 and live in British Columbia, you can join Choose to Move online. Add your name to join a virtual program with others from around the province. When a space becomes available, an activity coach will contact you directly.

Delivered in collaboration with 100+ non-profit partners, this program offers participants free one-on-one consultations with trained coaches to set health goals and develop personalized activity plans. Eight engaging group meetings provide a supportive environment for group discussion, encouragement, and learning with coaches covering various health topics. Choose to Move is not a fitness program.

The above Reef Knot Kit information packages are free to prostate cancer patients, their loved ones, and health care providers’ offices anywhere in Canada.

Each Reef Knot Kit includes important resources to aid you in understanding your diagnosis, making difficult decisions surrounding your treatment options, and improving your quality of life with your cancer. We encourage anyone going through this journey to take the time to learn more about prostate cancer and take advantage of the resources provided in these kits.

Androgen Deprivation Therapy Educational Program Update

The www.LifeOnADT.com online ADT Educational Program is a free resource to help patients manage ADT side effects and engage in healthy lifestyle behaviours (e.g., physical activity). The program provides support to both prostate cancer patients and their partners or loved ones.

The next online classes will be held on January 14, February 9, and March 11, 2026, all at 3:00 PM Pacific time/ 6:00 PM Eastern time.

Classes are offered monthly; patients are asked to register ahead of time at www.LifeOnADT.com. The class is a one-time, live (90 min.), facilitated webinar. After attending, Canadian patients are mailed a free copy of the ADT book (linked below).
